Unlock Thanet’s Visitor Secrets – Workshops for Business Growth

We recently hosted three marketing workshops, led by Chartered Marketer Bryony Bishop (BeeBee Communications).

Representatives from local businesses and organisations came along and feedback was positive.

Ruth, a local business woman at the Broadstairs workshop said: “I found it useful and interesting. The presentation was extremely well delivered by Bryony and supported by Emma from Thanet Tourism. It was very useful to network and share views with a variety of local businesses. I would recommend this workshop to others involved in local tourism in whatever form that takes.”

The presentation slides and toolkit are now available on our business website alongside the 2025 Visitor Survey Research and our Green Tourism Toolkit.

VisitEngland ‘All on England’s Coast’ Campaign

VisitEngland has launched its latest national campaign, running until Sunday 1 November, to encourage autumn and winter coastal getaways. The campaign targets young adults and families, aiming to boost visits and visitor spending across England’s coastal destinations just like ours!

From outdoor adventures and wildlife encounters to heritage, food and traditional seaside escapes, VisitEngland’s ‘All on England’s Coast’ campaign showcases the experiences that make England’s coastline one of the nation’s greatest tourism assets.

Highlighting five distinct themes including Creative (focusing on the South East’s local food, drink, and cultural destinations), Nature, Outdoor, Historic, and Classic, the campaign showcases the fantastic range of experiences available along our shores.

Local businesses and attractions can access downloadable campaign assets on VisitEngland’s dedicated portal. We encourage you to join the national conversation by using the hashtags #AllOnTheCoast and #VisitThanet in your social media activity.

Please note – we may contact some of you directly to ask for content for the campaign.

Visit Thanet Seasonal Digital Campaign

To promote local activities and events, we have created dedicated autumn website pages www.visitthanet.co.uk/halfterm and www.visitthanet.co.uk/halloween.
