The Ramsgate Town Investment Plan outlines the potential opportunities in supporting Ramsgate’s future. It has been created by the people of Ramsgate to define what they would like for the town and identify key priorities of work to achieve this. The Plan creates a tool for organisations to use for their own funding bids, and provides justification to potential investors for why they should invest in Ramsgate.

The Evening and Night-Time Economy (ENTE) supports thousands of jobs and businesses in Thanet. Results showed:

  • £68m annual Gross Value Added contribution​ to Thanet
  • 6,000 jobs​
  • 575 PAYE/VAT-registered enterprises

Creative Land Trust

A Creative Land Trust is an independent entity which is set up to secure buildings through outright purchase of freehold properties or long leases to support the sustainability of the creative sector and enable the community to benefit. Creative Land Trusts support the creative sector to be sustainable, often offering subsidised rents for creative tenants in return for social and economic impact in the local community.
