The Isle of Thanet has ideal filming locations, with an abundance of sites on any cinematographer’s wish list, including stunning beaches, seaside architecture all in easy reach from London.

Filming and photographic projects are welcome. We have information and support on hand to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible, including:

Thanet District Council works closely with the Kent Film Office (KFO) to facilitate filming across the District. The KFO team arranges permits and road closures for filming across Kent.
